Macaroni And Cheese

Macaroni And Cheese
Sue Bowling Edition

1 cup elbow macaroni
1/4 cup pimento, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup mayonnaise
1 lb sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup onion, chopped fine
buttered bread crumbs

Cook macaroni and drain. Mix in other ingredients with macaroni and pour into 9x13 inch pan. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes ontil it bubbles.

Momma’s Mississippi Mud

Momma’s Mississippi Mud
(also known as Sin Pie)

Crust
1 cup flour
1 stick melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans (or other nut)

Mix together and press into 9x13 pan. Bake on 350° for 15 minutes. Cool thoroughly.

Bottom Layer
1 cup sugar
2 ½ - 8oz packages cream cheese*
1 small (8oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Blend cream cheese and sugar well. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over crust.
*1 – 8oz package is standard. Add more cheese and less whipped topping for stronger cream cheese flavor.

Middle Layer
3 cups milk
2 small boxes instant chocolate pudding (substitute with your favorite flavor)

Mix ingredients together. Place in refrigerator to set (5-10 minutes). Spread over Bottom Layer.

Top Layer
1 small (8oz) container whipped topping (Cool Whip)

Spread over Middle Layer.

Sprinkle shaved chocolate or chopped nuts to garnish. Chill and serve. Serves 20+.
